combined with an ongoing involvement in the promotion of
best practices and sustainable development, this community
positioned itself as leader in the development, conservation
and preservation of the environment.
The winner of this criteria showed
exceptional and innovative water conservation initiatives
and an extensive biodiversity strategy which was accompanied
by the implementation of a fauna corridor and flora planting
programme.
