This is a new criteria at LivCom, and I
have to admit that it does seem to have proved a real
challenge for the competing communities here.
As judges, we are looking at three main
areas: research into relevant health issues; the provision
of appropriate facilities and activity programmes to aid
education about and prevention and treatment of those
issues; and then the re-focussing of objectives and targets
in the light of this learning process.
The winner of this criteria is the
community we felt had best fulfilled these areas; it is new
community who started with a blank sheet and took a
wholesome approach.
