Heritage Management

Citation

Every aspect of life is affected by heritage. A political structure may be brand new and big changes may be going on within the time frame of our own generation, but always many peoples will have lived interesting lives in times gone by.

Many living species have shaped the natural environment we see today, be they plants or animals – all have left their distinctive traces.

The winner of this criteria has put a great deal of energy into preserving its past. A wide range of initiatives have been implemented which will keep their heritage both relevant and valued, so that the past can be handed over in all of its richness to generations to come.
